Not too long ago, Michelle Obama referred to America as a mean nation. She got a very negative response and quickly downplayed what she said. But, Michelle wasn't wrong when she said America was a mean nation. Michelle was right. America is mean, but this meanness comes from the people who support her husband. On a daily basis they show the mean in America. Don't debate with them. They just want to hear accolades about their chosen one. Not even constructive criticism is acceptable. If a student wears a t-shirt with Governor Palin or Senator Mc Cain printed on it to school, they are literally setting themselves up for verbal attack not only from their fellow classmates but from teachers.
People are afraid to display McCain-Palin stickers on their cars for fear of vandalism. People are afraid of expressing their true thoughts in the work place for fear of recriminations. Don't tell an Obama supporter that you like Palin or McCain; you will be called a racist and worst.
The liberal PC segment of our American society has generated such a feeling of fear that America is no longer the America that so many fought and died for. Is this the kind of society that Obama wants? Naturally he would say no. Yet, it is the people who are so dazzled by him who have destroyed our religious base and our freedom of speech. Can the average person truly express what they feel? Can they express their political opinions without fear? They can as long as they agree with the PC leftie crowd who are truly violent- just accidently get swept up into an Obama rally and say you like McCain. See what happens. Is this the America that Americans want? Should we allow the media to tell us who to vote for or to support? Should we look the other way while our teachers and professors indoctrinate our children in ideologies that oppose American democratic thought? Do we have the strength to battle against them?
We better. America needs to take a stand. Forget about Russia. Forget about China. Forget about Muslim extremists. Our battle is against the left wing elitists who through intimidation, temper tantrums and false accusations are trying to take us down to a herd mentality. Why does the left want a herd mentality for America? Its simple they want to control us. That’s why they have fought so hard to take Christianity out of our schools, town squares, and even our malls. That is why they try so hard to inflame racial hatred by playing one race against the other. Control is why they want to ban our right to bear arms.
If America develops a complete herd mentality that the elite lefties want then we are finished as a nation. America can’t survive with a herd mentality. America became great because of its love for the self reliant trail blazer. America is about the individual not the herd. Michelle is right this is a nation of mean, but sometimes a nation has to be mean in order to survive especially when it is doing battle against an even meaner force within its own borders.
