Today was a crazy as I had expected. Everywhere I looked I saw Obama signs. People waving black t-shirts with Obama's picture and the words, commander in chief printed below. As I was being bombarded by the sight of so many Obama pictures a saying from my childhood came to my thoughts. I wonder if anyone remembers it- God protects America and drunks. With the much touted Obama as the next president, this saying has no meaning. God is no longer protecting America. The higher power has turned away. America has lost its Farr. America rejected a loyal soldier and servant and selected another of questionable qualities.
It seems that America loves to reward mediocrity. Americans are easily dazzed by attractive looks, swagger, arrogance, and BS.
Who cares if this Obama has a shady circle of friends-AntiAmericans who Obama deliberately sought and befriended? Who cares if Obama wants to introduce socialism into our capitalist society? Who cares if Obama has more care for captured Jihadists than infant survivors of blotched abortions?
Over and over again information about this man only proved that he is not a person of integrity. Yet the media so biased and blind protected, pampered and promoted Obama. This man is middle aged- almost 50 years old. With the exception of graduating from an elitist law school, writing two books about his favorite subject, and promoting himself as the Dali lama what has he done? Not much. There are so many others much younger who have done much more. The media, the entertainment industry and the politically correct made Obama their poster boy and gave him a free ride? Why? Was their hatred for George Bush that strong? Maybe W just delayed the left's plan to control America, and they so full of venom and hate could not let it go. Who knows?
Today, I voted for McCain and Palin. I knew it was hopeless. Obama had been selected a long time ago. Yet, I was not going to be part of the herd and cast a vote for a man who will seriously hurt this country. B.O. has already has told America so much yet America continues with its celebrity worship.
While standing in line to vote, I saw PC whities with a glazed look in their crafty eyes and an unusual pink coloration to their drawn tight lipped faces. They were actually congratulating themselves, and each other for voting for B.O. I just shook my head in disgust. These people are so self absorbed and so alienated. They have no clue what is going on in the real world. Their world is about going to the mall, gossiping, telling their cleaning ladies where to clean, terrorizing their little boys about the dangers of playing with toy guns, and pampering themselves. Oh, and standing in judgment of others who don't agree with their agenda- forgot that one. Their belief is if you don't vote for Obama you are nothing but a racist plain and simple. Critical thinking is not allowed. Questioning is not allowed either.
I wonder what excuses they will give their kids in later years when they have to explain how the good life in America ended just as they were coming of age. Most will probably lie and say they did not vote for Obama just like my mother did. My mother voted for Jimmy Carter and then denied it years later.
I am typing this little note with a heavy heart. I do love this country and I am very afraid. My only hope is that America will come to its senses. I think it will. My prediction is that America will be screaming for Obama's head in two years or less. He will be a one term president. The Louisiana Governor will oust B.O. in 2012.
I can't imagine the American people tolerating Obama and his left wing administration when the left's tenacles start to reach directly into their homes. Being played for a fool can only last so long even in the USA.
America, hold on tight. The roller coaster is going down, down very quickly, and we deliberately did it to ourselves. It will be four years before the roller coaster starts its climb back up.
